I'm Joanne Cogle, city council candidate for District 7. I've been a resident of Columbus for more than 13 years. This is the city where I met my husband and started a family, and it is a privilege to be your neighbor.

To contribute to the growth of our city, I founded several successful businesses, including a series of sports events that has helped bring visitors and investors to uptown. I've also been an instructor at Columbus State University to help prepare the next generation of community leaders.

I understand the challenges our community faces. We need to navigate higher prices, keep our community safe, and ensure everyone has an opportunity to succeed. As my husband is an active-duty soldier, I also understand the unique challenges faced by our many military families.

My first priority as a candidate is to listen to you, to hear your concerns as we prepare the agenda for the next city council.
